With colder days here, our fashion sense changes and we turn to a lot of layering and bundling up. Janine Binneman, from Janine Binneman Jewelleries, offers her top-five best tips on how to style and wear your favourite jewellery pieces in winter:
Earrings the bigger the better!
We can still see them in winter when we all covered up, especially dangly earrings.
Layer your long necklaces like you would your clothes
Wear long necklaces with cardigans and jerseys so that it is visible under our scarves. Have some fun by layering them.
Think big and bold
As we tend to wear more dulled colours in winter, a colourful bold jewellery piece stands out. Add some colour to your stacking rings with birthstones or a Jelly gem ring.
Don’t wear everything you own at one time
While layering and being bold are key to highlighting your jewellery this winter, stick to one item so that you don’t look like a Christmas tree.
Tassels, tassels, tassels
They are a great way to bring in colour, frivolity, movement and some summer happiness to your dulled winter outfit.
