Imagine if you could wear your profession or personality on the outside so you could show it off, treating your wardrobe as a brand to get people to take an interest in what you do or who you are? What would you wear, would you be bright and colourful, dark or neutral and subtle?
I personally believe that what you look like says a million about you and by that I’m not implying that everyone should be trendy and fashionable with expensive big brands, I’m just saying that let’s all put an effort into displaying what we’re about.
Ask yourself this question, if image didn’t matter, why do we then put an effort into how we look when we go for a job interview, work event or a date? Uh huh, we all want to leave a certain impression on the people we cross paths with, so how about we sprinkle that into our day-to-day look! For example, Disney is known for “fun family entertainment” so the characters are always dressed accordingly, you’re never confused about why a character is dressed in a certain way.
Image is not just clothes, it is also how your attitude, personality, character and behaviour.
Did you know that big companies now hire people based on their social network account? It’s actually your social network that decides whether you get an interview or not. They want to hire people who will present their company well so how you dress, what you say about your current job, the comments you make about other people, how much you party and how you behave when drunk. Your pictures say a lot about you, your image makes or breaks you.
How you LOOK + How you SPEAK + How you ACT = Your Personal Image
